1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Hardlight's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Hardlight provides a platform for generating physics-ready 3D assets from 2D images. Our service includes 3D model generation, physics simulation properties, and export capabilities for various simulation formats including USD, URDF, and MJCF.

3. Account Registration

To use our services, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Intellectual Property Rights

Your Content: You retain all rights to the images you upload and the 3D assets generated from your content. Hardlight claims no ownership over your input images or generated outputs.

Our Technology: The Hardlight platform, algorithms, and technology remain our exclusive property. Your use of our service does not grant you any rights to our underlying technology.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that infringes on third-party rights
• Use the service for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer our technology
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Share account credentials with unauthorized parties

6. Payment and Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed on a monthly basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

• Credits are allocated monthly with your subscription
• Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience unforeseen outages. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of scheduled maintenance.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hardlight shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hardlight and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases. We may retain your data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, but will not actively use it for service delivery.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Hardlight operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
